Ryder and Izzy

"Why do birds suddenly appear?
Every time..you are near?
Just like me, they long to be...
close to you.....
Why do stars fall down from the sky...
every time..you walk by....
Just like me, they long to be...
close to you....
On the day that you were born, the angels got together..
and decided to create a dream come true..
so they sprinkled moon dust in your hair
and golden star light in your eyes of blue.....
That. is. why,
all the girls in town..
follow you..
all around....
Just like me,
they long to be..
Close to you.."
-The Carpenters

The question I have is: do they really have a choice but to hate (or love, ugh) each other???

They're literally forced together like some backwards, medieval arranged marriage. They have no say in the matter, no ability to choose their friends (or mates) for themselves - it's too ghastly to consider.

I find it odd and just weird that parents gloat and giggle about pairing their children during childhood but will be the same people telling them later to "stay away from each other" and "don't get pregnant" once these same kids learn that the plug does indeed fit into the socket...

Ono, there's a time and a place for everything. Childhood indeed is a time for gloating and giggling. When it comes time to talk about plugs and sockets, we'll send them to you.

Thank you.

i find it odd and just weird that someone looks at that picture of Iz and Ry and starts thinking about plugs and sockets.
